In order to investigate the possibilities of hydroponic farming in Quetta, Spurt International, a pioneer in agricultural technology and turnkey farming solutions, recently teamed up with the EU-funded Revival of Balochistan Water Resource Program (RBWRP).
The founders of Spurt International, M. Mohsin Malik and Muslim Malik, had productive meetings with officials from the International Water Management Institute (IWMI), FAO Balochistan, and the European Union during this partnership. The goal was to alleviate the region’s water restriction by implementing advanced hydroponic agricultural methods and highly efficient water infrastructure.
The team at Spurt International had in-depth conversations with a number of important individuals, such as the EU Ambassador, the EU Head of Cooperation, and FAO Balochistan. The main topic of discussion was the adoption of hydroponic farming methods, which are crucial for producing crops with less water usage.
A key topic of debate was how crucial sustainable farming methods are to addressing Balochistan’s water shortage and advancing food security. Spurt International was the perfect partner for this project because of their experience with hydroponic, tunnel, and greenhouse farming.
In this initiative, Spurt International plays a crucial role, particularly in the development and application of climate-controlled hydroponic systems. Due to its reputation for requiring less water than conventional farming techniques, hydroponic farming will assist regional farmers in overcoming the difficulties brought on by Balochistan’s water scarcity.
Spurt International, which has a long history of accomplishing fruitful agricultural initiatives, is dedicated to promoting innovation and sustainability via this partnership. This program encourages the use of contemporary farming methods while marking a substantial advancement toward Balochistan’s long-term agricultural success.
